I'll show you my pouch if you show me yours...

My old detecting pouch was getting worn and didn't have quite enough room for the big iron like axe heads, forged tools, and two man saws I've been finding for the farmer. So I bid on a quality tool belt on Ebay and got it at a good price (in fact I bid on two of them as my carpenters pouch was about shot also). Then I decided I wanted to put a cool buckle on it, so back to Ebay I went, and won this Confederate State of America reproduction brass buckle for a mere $11.00. I then went to work making my new belt detector friendly. I bought some brass rivets to attach the belt buckle and adjustment loops, but they didn't hold as well as I thought. So I took them out and attached the buckle and attachment clasp with leather straps that I cut off some scrap leather... gives it that "rustic look". Anyway, after about 2 hours work, my belt is finally finished. I think its pretty cool, and sure beats a cloth nail apron from Family Hardware... Ed'll give you one of those free when you buy a 2x4, you know.
