Looking at Garrett Seahunter 2 vs Tesoro Sandshark. Couple times a year Gulf Beaches And N,FL AND South Ga. Reason looking at these is cost.

Personally I own an Infinium LS, a sister to the Seahunter, and have loved every swing with it. I do not own, nor have I used a SandShark. So no comparison, but the above link, though old, may help.

If you are only comparing those two I would definitely go SH2 because you can swap headphones/coils. I believe the pulse delay is lower too on the SH2 (15 vs 22) but I am not 100% sure on that so you should confirm. Lower pulse delay = finding smaller gold. If you are considering others I would definitely check out whites DF pro whose pulse delay is around 15.

I would go with the 8" Sand Shark personally. There isn't much difference between 17 and 22 on pulse delay. Both will find small enough gold. Lower pulse delay also means they are more sensitive to small bits of foil and iron. The SS is built like a tank and has lifetime warranty for the original owner.
