Found under a few inches of sand a while back,say's Rolex on the dial but I doubt if it actually is the real thing.Don't know how long it was buried but it came up alive and ticking.Local police say its mine in a couple more weeks if nobody reports it missing. :)
 
I have heard if the second hand "ticks" it is fake, if it "sweeps" it is the real deal... Good luck!
 
A constant motion, but you can kinda see it pause on each second. I have a real one on right now. The watch in the pic DOES look like a fake. It should be a mechanical movement. If it has a battery, it's fake. When it dies, you just wind it up or shake it (self-winding) and it will start up. Also, you need a special tool to open up the back cover.
 
Thanks for the info. It stops if I don't wear it but as soon as I pick it up and give it a gentle shake it starts again.
