AFRICA!!!!

I'm serious. I was over at my parents house yesterday for an early Father's day dinner. We were eating dinner and I was talking about my latest MD finds. My Mom spoke up and told me that our in home caretaker wanted to buy a metal detecters. (my Dad is very sick and cannot be left alone) He is from Africa, speaks very good English and is a really nice guy. Apparently due to the frequent changes in "ownership" of his country, there is a lot of spare currency laying about. When one colonial power would lose control, the currency would become useless and would be discarded. This apparently happend many times. He has 7 older sisters, and when they were playing/fighting, instead of picking up pebbles and rocks to "chuck" at each other, they would be picking up the discarded coins and having "coin fights". This is not joke, he really wants to buy a metal detector before he goes home so he can find the coins. He remembers where he used to play. Sooo, I'll find out the exact country and town in exchange for someone bringing me along with them. Fair finders fee no? :)
