If You Want To Double Your Coin Intake When Coin Shooting, Try This:

When coin shooting, I usually hunt areas where coins are frequently lost, such as parks, schools and bus stops. I don't waste time using a digger, as pretty well all coins in these areas will be in the top inch or two. So, I use what I call the coin-popping method. I just us a large flathead screwdriver and Garrett Pin-pointer. So......quickly pinpoint your target with your coil, exact it's location with your pin-pointer, then locate the edge probing it with a screwdriver, insert the screwdriver under the coin and pop it out of the ground. So simple! And.......no holes. You won't lose any metal detecting areas using this method, as the groundskeeper won't discover large yellow dead spots of grass, large gaping holes or grass plugs laying beside a hole. Good PR with our hobby is a MUST!

Below is a link to a video I made last year to assist with the coin popping method! I prefer using concentric coils, and those are the ones which can accurately pinpoint off that dot. DD coils pinpoint from the center. That works just as well too.
