My coin finds so far, which began on January 2, 2011.

Hahahaha ...... John, I'm $100.00 ahead of you, and I've been using 3 detectors since March this year !

BH_Landstar I'm curious which Minelab you're talking about and have you compared them head to head on the same targets before digging to see if one missed something the other found?

The best detector that's out there is the one that you have learned (the most) to the point where you tell it what's under the coil, not the other way around. I have witnessed hunters with $200.00 detectors run circles around people using machines costing 5 x as much.

I can't tell you this here, John will get a little pissed off !

Oh, and thanks for editing my post John ! Not sure whats up with this crap, but detector wars ..... what next ? Digging tool wars ?

BH Landstar, I see you have found some good things with your machine. Bragging about clad coins however, does not interest me in the least.

Clad coins, they add up after a short time, and can be spent on new items / metal detectors. If you want to leave them in the ground as they do not interest you, that would be great, someone else will come along and claim them.
