If you like to detect no reason you should not have a AT Pro

After going through one set of batteries on the AT I think it is as good as and of the high end detectors for every day detecting. I have had or own about every high end detector out there at one time or another. It is a deep hunter has good iron discrimination and works as advertised. The big advantage is that you can hunt any time you want to hunt. Yesterday I had mine out in nasty snow rain and sleet mix and never had to worry about it. Brought it home wet and muddy ant just hosed it off. No more worries about hunting in bad weather and it will be a great water hunting detector for jewelry I guarantee it. Think about it it is truly a all new detector never been done before. A water proof ID detector that you can change coils on and hunt in any conditions. This is one that there is no reason you should not have it added to your detecting arsenal even if you do own the most expensive detector out there it will do things that detector will not do. Garrett is going to sell a ton of these bet other companies are taking notes and wondering why did we not think of that. This is a great machine and for the $$ nothing comes close.

Yeah being waterproof is a big plus in rainy areas like where I live. Don't have to stop tectingwhen it just starts sprinkling rain.

Will work great for people who don't have enough sense to come in out of the rain.

get a nice straight shaft for it..............

nice phones.......................

this heater will hunt with the best to them.....................

who is to say maybe around june and july it might even .....S H I N E................this is my goal for it................fresh summer drops...........rain, waves and ..............

i will say also that really does do a great job on clad coins................be a great step forward for all the ace guys looking for ................all terrain heater.

What, another new detector released with a wobble in the shaft?
Will this ever get addressed?

It is the same shaft used on Ace 250, Infinium, Sea Hunter MK2 & probably more The way I solved the problem is put a ball of plumbers putty in the hole at the bottom & fill with epoxy

Gotcha,
I had to firm up my new Sea Hunter Shaft with s/s bolts a hose clamp around the upper shaft and add extra holes with bolts on the upper shaft to stop the annoying wiggle.

Along the AT Note...
I do think this AT Pro will be a great seller, great price point, and nice design, but those headphone connections are a bit touchy. Caution is really needed when disconnecting/connecting. Would like to see the trigger design incorporated for the pin pointing, like Whites uses. JMO. Marty

I had mine out yesterday in the snow. Damn, was it cold and blowing hard. This morning woke up with 4 inches on the ground, so may have to hang it up for the winter and work on the headphone issue. I use Killer B II's on all my others and these Garrett phones suck compared to others. Plus the cord is so short... I also have a slight wobble to adjust. I will have a long winter to fine tune it...
