...between a Garrett AT Pro or a Fisher 1280x ....which one would you pick? They are both around the same price give or take. Thanks ..
 
And I would say the AT pro without a doubt. Much better on gold, smaller and larger. It has a ground balance, digital readout, DD coil, lightweight, and has a really good warranty at 2yrs. Should also mention its got some very good tones, very distinct.
The meter may not help you in neck deep water but it sure will just below the chest and down and the tones are there always, great machine.
 
You can't beat Garrett's customer service either ...
