If you had a choice? An Outlaw or the Bandido II uMax

for running a cleansweep coil. This would be one scenario. Then what about the possible option to put on a 5.75 concentric and use the unit in a TOT park setting? I haven't had any experience with either MD but would like to know from hands-on users how the two compare in various situations. Loving my LST, wish I could get a cleansweep for it. But the two I'm asking about have sparked my interest and I'd like to hear if any of you get a warm fuzzy feeling about one over the other. Thanks

If I could, it would be the outlaw with the bandido audio. As it is I would have to say the bandido. Just don't care for the outlaw tone, it's too bad because otherwise it's an excellent unit.

I have the Bandido. I love everything about it, except the slightly too high tone, and the loooonnggg battery beep on startup. Otherwise it's perfect in every way.

The Outlaw has a more pleasing tone (its more near a Silver Umax). That's it's only advantage in my book. And the fact that you can buy new with a warranty. The downfall of the Outlaw is the Retune button. It's a multi function button and either some people don't understand how it works, or it got dirt in it and started sticking. Both issues easily overcome in my book.

So an Outlaw with the switches from the Bandido would be perfect.

But here in the real world either would serve you well. In the used market they would likely cost about the same too. So take your pick, I don't think you can go wrong.

Makes sense to have an adjustable tone frequency control like the Tejon
