If You Ever Get Your Ears Tested By An Audiologist.......

Ask which frequencies are the ones which are predominant to your hearing...ie low or high tones...

The GTP and GTI models can have their tones adjusted to suit your best hearing tones. There's no sense having a machine use high tones for targets if your ears don't hear high tones very well. You can set the tones to your advantage on some of the Garrett detectors.

I have headphones tailored to my precise hearing
levels after presenting the guy who makes them
with my audiogram result.
For the not so young of us...lol i would
advise re checking your headphones every three years
or so as our hearing alters quite dramatically as we age.
It really makes a big difference to be able to hear those
faint whispers we may otherwise miss.
Best regards to you John...paul in southern Wales.
