If you don't like snow.... you could be here.

If it is not hurricanes, its tornadoes. Florida ranks third in the US. for the number of tornadoes. Ten days ago a tornado cleared the woods and made it open land. Pictures can't really show you the devastation.

This used to be where I picked up my prescriptions. A state cop was parked in his car and was lifted higher then the roof of this building. He came down and wasn't hurt.

These people were lucky. They only lost part of their roof and a few trees.

This was a boarding house near the ferry, built in the mid 1800's. When I saw it, my sick mind thought," I wonder if the owners would let me MD this place later.

Yeah I grew up in Tornado Alley. Seen a bunch and worked in several disaster areas. Nothing quite like the brute force of a roaring tornado. When you see straws driven through steel I beams without being broken you can respect the incredible force these things generate.

Somewhere in my old stuff I have a pic of my buddy leaning on an six to seven foot diameter oak tree with a two x four driven all the way through the trunk and the end that went through the tree doesn't have a splinter missing. The wonder of velocity never ceases to amaze me.

Would love to see that Bill.
Guess were lucky over here in England...but, saying that, our weather has been increasing in velocity every year, I doubt it wont be long until we have your type of weather.......

Mercy sakes!! That is some real devastaion. Pictures never do tell the whole tale, but those tell enough. Glad the 'nados spared you.

Yeah with the world's weather changing at a rapid pace it's hard telling what might get unloaded on you guys. Hope you never have tornados. They are Mother Nature's most powerful force. When one can drive a straw through a steel I beam - and without breaking the straw, that is some incredible force.
