Don't say I didn't warn you. :nono: I spent the day on the tundra hills for most of the day searching for loot. The ACE got the deeper ones in the deep snow...the stinger got the loot in the not so deep snow. It got a couple of degrees above freezing, which made it quite pleasant! I hit two different places, and each gave me a little over $2.00. And, as usual, more BIC lighters showed up.

Below is the totals for the day. :)

$4.72 is a pretty good day in my book.I guees ya'll need those BIC lighters up there to make a fire and keep warm:lol:

I know a few do...but..(.I'm not trying to high jack your posts honest), if you hunt frozen snow covered ground...Tell us about you experience. Thanks

John, I live in Michigan and our winters last a while i get the blues i mean i could write a song about it, but in Edmonton i would probably be in the nut house waiting for the ground the thaw, what is your average date that you can really dig deep signals on turf, the wooded areas thaw first around here so that's where i start thanks HH Tim

We call it 6 months summer, 6 months winter. Water season starts around the end of April, with icebergs still floating around. We wear chest waders with thick socks, extra woollies and sweaters. The season finishes usually in October, wearing the same water attire. Land hunts in sports fields and parks usually are about the same too, with the exception that we can hunt most of the year in the woods using a good relic shovel with little or no snow. With lots of snow, its snow hills and tot lots.
