pray for my son, Lindsey. We found out about a month ago that he has scoliosis and has to wear a brace. He goes to get it today. He hasn't shown much emotion about it, which kinda worries me. Pray that the transition would go ok for him. Wearing a brace around will not be easy for him to adjust to.

How old is he? Hopefully his friends and contacts will only be curious, and not mean. I remember a little girl when I was young that had a brace. To my recollection she had no problems. How long does he have to wear it?

My 10 year old daughter has a close friend that got one about 6 months ago. She got used to it quite fast. Prayers on the way. How old is he?

I posted some more info on Linds, but it didnt post. I guess that I need to get used to this new format too!

Lindsey is a Freshman...15 years old. The good thing is that he swims, which is excellent exercize for him. He seemed to do ok this evening with it. Thanks again for your prayers!
