I want mine to sing "Mammy" when you turn it on. How I love my Bug.:csflag:

One feature, I want a dang volume control on this thing. The whole town hears it when I find a target! lol

A couple of notches and a toggle switch for all metal or disc!!!!

+A ground Grab in Disc mode would be awesome!
+turn modulation on and off
+Back light for low light conditions never used an I.D. much but this I.D. is so precise I rely on it and this time of year by 5:30 P.M. in the woods the display is hard to see
+More gain still pretty dang quite at 100 give me enough so I have to turn it back...
+Weather beater housing, non glare screen...
+ Bigger optional coil like above the 11" maybe a 14" Bi-Axial..

The ultimate probably never happen Mixed mode Audio all metal and disc together...

As a gold machine designed for the outdoors, I was crapping my pants when ever I saw a cloud pass over. Seriously, this thing should be water resistant, if not water proof! How many times did I sit in under the trees when its tarted to rain?? LOTS! Either it needs a properly designed rain cover, or teh control box needs some modifications to protect against water.

....I use the all metal mode to size and pinpoint targets. The Pinpoint mode to me is rather useless for sizing and even depth. With the 11" coil depth readings are way off....and the best indicator of depth and size has and ALWAYS will be audio response.
The All Metal mode is superior to the PP mode in all respects on this machine...especially in heavy trash.
I had told Fisher that it would have been nice if say the Disc pot was like the pot on eth F75 that had a push feature. Such that when you push it in it will swap to the oppsosite mode Disc-Allmetal or vice versa for as long as the pot is held in. This was I don't have to fumble around to switch over to all metal like we do now. With a enviro cover on it is hard to turn the pots and even more so with a relic shovel in one hand and with gloves on.
Could do it with a trigger switch too...whatever but you could just use a Pot that also had a push to hold feature like the F75...although i don't think the f75 pot does anything when you push it in...seems like only the LTD

Id like to make it water proof, and have a small ellipical coil like a 4by2.5 or something would be cool to hit up the crevises..

ideas to use to replace the new GB Pro with a GB Pro 2 :) :) :) :) Then the Pro will be discontinued like the GBSE was. This is the first time in my 30 years of detecting that I have bought a brand spanking new detector only to have it discontinued 1.5 months after I bought it. I think Fisher has gone Version Crazy :) :) :) :)

I think they have the best engineers but I feel fortunate to get a perfectly working SE. Never mind the crack in the housing that came with mine. I dare not send it back because you may be sorry or happy you did.
