is it a second-generation unit that has had the noted problems (loose battery compartment, etc) fixed or upgraded? I already own an F75 and am thinking of getting a second one, but would like to wait until all the bugs are worked out. - Jim

I think so based on what I have read. I bought a newer used one and I have had no problems with it - it has the upgraded control housing for sure.

Guys, thanks for the posts. Is it same to assume that places like Kellyco have the upgraded version or does the buyer need to worry about "old stock"?

I've just bought a new UK model, how would I know if it's had the upgrade...is there a sticker or something.
