General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

If you bought a detector from someone other than a Findmall Sponsor (as in a dealer that doesn't advertise here) I don't want your feedback on here. T

If all you want are findmall sponsors then maybe you should list the sponsors and ask what people think of hem instead of an entire forum. Just an idea

I want others to know that the transaction worked out fine......or it didn't?

There's a guy named Steve who posts on the Equinox forum. He runs a facebook site called "Steve's Detector Rods" , and he makes lower rods for the Equinox.

I've purchased two, and they are great.

I don't view me posting favorable feedback for him as free advertising. I suppose it is, from one standpoint, but from a customer it's different---I'm not doing it to help him, I'm doing it to let other Equinox owners know Steve's products are legit, and he can be trusted.

So, in one way, by posting favorable feedback on this forum, I'm helping my fellow detectorists who also support this forum.

I will abide by your rules, whatever you decide. Just need some clarification.

Um, if I happened to have bought my metal detector from some store other than your sponsors, do I understand you do not wish me to be on this forum?

No, of course we want you here. We don't want you posting about who you bought it from other than our sponsors.
