There was a church that was locally famous for taking in handicapped children and providing the necessary care and attention that these, poor unfortunate, souls needed.
One day, a deacon was approached by one of the retarded children and asked for something to eat and drink. When he opened the refrigerator, all that was left was a bunch of apples and a case of Tab.
"What the heck", he figured and handed the little boy one of the apples and a Tab to wash it down.
Minutes later, the child broke out in song and what a beautiful song it was. Nothing as wonderful as this had ever been heard from the choir, let alone a poor retarded child.
The deacon pondered the situation for a while and it came to mind that it had to have been the combination of the apple and Tab that he had given the child that caused him to sing out like an angel.
He gathered a bunch of other retarded children together and gave them all apples and Tab and sure enough, they all broke out in harmony simultaneously. It was a feast for the senses.
He thought, "what a wonderful gift this will be !"
"We will form a group and tour the country raising money for the church and for the care of these wonderfully , gifted kids."
And he did just that. After months of practice, they finally went on tour known as.............
"The Moron Tab and Apple Choir"
