Of course the digital screen would be right on, tone would not waver and of course the cursor would be tightly snuggled in the far upper right for silver coins..Many junk targets in the ground mask or try to mask good ones so that is always not the case..Get an iffie signal, check it from various angles and don't be afraid to dig as those that investigate get the ones others miss...As good a unit as an Explorer is its not perfect and of course not for everyone. Minelab gives us the tools and those that learn an Explorer excell...
It simply amazes me to dig silver coins from a local park thought to be worked out 15 years ago...
 
And the Explorer can be used successfully with different settings, fast,deep on or off, audio normal or audio 1, the use of no disc and using some, even sensitivity differences, so experiment with different settings, see how they work in your ground and decide which fit your personality and become your preferences.
