If it was predictable, it wouldn't be fun.

Went out for 1 1/2 hours to an old school a co-worker told me about in a nearby town.

When I got there I liked the place across the street better. They pulled up the grass.

The first 2 targets were a 1942 and a 1912 penny.

I was sure to find a lot more wheats. Then I had a big and different type of coin. I was getting an adrenalin rush, before I found out it was a local token.

I was digging up to 3 pop tabs per hole. It was hard to get a clean hit and darkness was coming quickly. How cruel and no more wheats or silver. I don't understand how it can start out so good and then just go down hill from there. I will never win the race for the most coins, but I don't want to. I left the token out of the group picture.

Last weeks oldest 1906 v-nickel. Oldest for the week, 1912 penny.

Hi,
It's nice to see someone else digging up crap as well,
that is apart from the wheaties.
Like wag-jr we're finding it difficult to get out just now as we are suffering from high winds and driving rain.
We just seize the chance when there is a gap in the weather, hoping to get out for a good un tomorrow.:detecting:

Man I love your posts, you have outstanding photos and the story comes through in Aces. Someday I'll be retired, will move back to Florida, and can spend my days "working" at living rather than living to work. Thanks for taking the time and effort on the pictures and keeping the board up to speed on how you're doing, it's a great incentive.
