lately we have seen and heard a lot of things. Some good, some bad. What impresses me is the good things I am hearing. Things like the woman wearing a lewd shirt who didn't want to die wearing it - her conscience has been pricked and now thinking of God.
I am hearing more about praying more. Certainly God would enjoy hearing from us more often. With the gas prices we look for other alternative things to do and among them is to sit and read the Bible or read it more. Hearing that TC is trash makes us less inclined to chose it as a substitute thing to do.
Lately our family has enjoyed just sitting on the front porch where we see other neighbors sitting on their front porches. And we wave at each other with respect. That didn't happen before. No one wanted to just sit relax, be friendly and now we even take time on the porch to talk to each other about what is going on. There 'was never time for that' before. Families are getting closer together as they should have been doing.
Not all we hear is negative. If we look about us we see positive things going on to change things for the better and I just can't help believe God is bringing about the good things out of the bad situations people are in.
More bicycles on the streets means more people getting exercise they never got before and less pollution in the air.
Good things are happening. What is good that has happened that has arisen around you since the bad things happened? Do you see positive things happening? It can't be just me wearing rose colored glasses.
