HI GENTS: which is the better and deeper unit idx sl or idx pro ????Need some feed back please also best coil for it :thumbup:
 
I doubt there is much difference model to model. Individual detectors differ to each other more than that. I had an IDX Pro and sold it because I wasn't crazy about the meter and my meter less Classic III SL was a hair deeper.

As far as coils go, the standard 950 is fine, some like the 8" Royal coil and the 5.3 is great for cherry picking in junk.
 
On several occasions I have had a Classic IDX and an IDX Pro and compared them, side-by-side, in the field and there was little to no difference.
