IDX & IDX PRO

IDX came with the 8 inch coil, the IDX Pro has some slight modifications for a bit more depth( I think), and came with the Blue Max 950 coil. Never heard of a IDX Plus.

Whites never made a IDX Plus machine. I saw the one your looking at and it's a miss print.
The classic IDX and IDX pro both come with a 950 coil. The IDX pro model is said to have the internal gain tweaked for about a 20% increase of depth. I saw that Classic ID for like $549.00 on the big auction. That's too much! If your thinking about spending that much then buy a M6.

There is a IDX+, I think it is similar to Kellco's model. They have only 2 coils that can be fitted on so I think you would be better off with either the IDX or IDX-Pro. The IDX-Pro is the newer of the 2, it supposed to have a little better enhanced sensitivity but probably not much difference between the 2.
