I see. Thanks for clarifying.Clive's term extension is describing the tone having some substance to it. Solid, round, fullness or meat to it would be other vernacular terms. Not thin, hollow or forced sounding.
It is good advice on all but the very deepest targets. They can be just whispers but still have that something extra that experience tells you to dig.
I Reserve to make my comment untill other people had. As far as I'm concerned, it was one of the most poorly worded comments in his book.JCR-TX
