Howdy--
I hope that everyone had the chance to swing the coil today. I had a pretty good day. I hunted a vacant lot where there was once a home. I'm using the V3i with the 4X6, modified High Trash Program. I dug a few silver dimes and the usual wheat-cents. This military item hit hard at 7 inches and its identity has me stumped. Over the years I have dug several buttons with the same design and I understand that they are WW1 era. This, however, is not a button. It is stamped brass and it weighs a hefty 35.3 grams. The reverse has 2 posts. Can someone offer a positive ID?
Thanks in advance.
