Idea needed to stop smaller targets passing through scoop

What modification have you made to stop micro targets passing through
your scoop. Picture would be great.

If you are hunting in soft sand then a fine wire mesh will stop most targets getting away, and still be functionable to sift out the sand. You can weld or just cable tie it in place. Good luck :)

Thanks!

That looks great, Jim in Ma. I had some silver chains drive me crazy at the local river/lake last year falling out of my scoop. I definitely want to try this in my Sunspot scoop. I want to put together a sifter to tow behind me that Cupajo posted, but this can come in handy, also. I have a lot of problems with fresh water mussel shells plugging up my scoop and making it hard to pick out my coins and jewelry and the sifter will take care of them, but this would prevent the chains from falling out in areas where the shells are not a problem.
