Check out this site.......http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/10k-yellow-gold-knights-of-pythias-fcb-ring

It is a FBC ring and not a FCB ring. Read it right to left, top to bottom.

The Order of Knights of Pythias is an international, non-sectarian fraternal order, established in 1864 in Washington, DC, by Justus H. Rathbone and was the first fraternal order to be chartered by an Act of Congress.

Domains of the Order exist in most states and provinces, and subordinate lodges are located in many cities and towns across the United States and Canada.

Your father was a member of a brotherhood club. He may have worn it in the military but it is not a military ring.

Here is another site that will give you more information on the FBC.....http://www.pythias.org/about/pythstory.html
