I saw that patch in nam---- 1st air cavelry. its black cause they lost their flag during korean war.

It's the 1st Calvary Division, U.S. Army

I was in the 11th Amoured Calvary in Vietnam.

We were under their operational control.

Great unit with a long and proud history.
 
Thank You Jerry 4R the INFO, But i was never in the Cavelry so what do thay do????? Fight on horses or in planes???? Are thay a troop or the hole US army????
