ID old Buttons?

Hello, I was speaking with JW about two buttons I found over the weekend and he suggested I post a message in this forum saying Jim from upstate NY would probably know about them. I went to one of my old sites along the Hudson River and pulled out this button made by
 
Waterville is a section of Waterbury CT, that company started out in 1847 out of Ives, Kendrick and Co. it made sportsmans buttons like yours till around 1860..
Your 1834 Political button is just that... from the True Whigs.. the device is a liberty cap, just that its laying on its side so hard to tell.. but thats what it is... good button by the way.. RV15
