I was wondering if anyone might have a list of Id numbers for US coins, pulltabs etc. I am sure Id numbers have been posted but I have not found them yet. Thanks Dennis in Idaho

Zinc penny 30, copper penny 36, Jefferson nickel 12, clad dime 36, rosey dime 38 & 40, clad quarter 42, silver quarter 42, clad half 44, and silver half 44. These numbers were attained with the original 9" concentric 7.5kHz coil.

I had previously posted a worksheet to use to record the numbers that you experience with your X-Terra 70, but it was lost the other day when the Forum computer crashed. You can easily make one by doing an air test, recording the numbers, then verifying those numbers with actual results out in the field. Also, there is a chart already posted that you might find if you do a search of prior posted messages, believe the chart was posted by digger.

It is my understanding that different coils may affect the number readings that appear on your meter. I do not know if the mineralization of the soil will affect the numbers, but I intend on checking later this summer when I metal detect in other areas.

I hope that you find lots of treasure and have a great time using your X-Terra. Kelley (Texas) :)

Thank you so much.I will keep checking for the charts. I hope you repost the worksheet that was lost. HH Dennis in Idaho
