Anyone have any ideas as to what the heck these things are?
I found them at two different locations and both sites were old home sites.
They are made of brass and one appears to silver plated or chrome plated.
They are about 2.5" long.

I have saw then ID'd as sword hangers and rein guides. I dont know what they are but they are neat...d2
 
I have seen these before near a lake. They are used to tie up a small boat. A rope goes through the large hole, and each end of the boat hooks on to the small hole.
