It is the impact portion to a gold mining stamp mill, or some other mining operation. 100% certianty, I have worked in that field in Dahlonega for a few years.

Was an unusual object found in a creek bed here in mid tenn.
knew someone here could help.
don't know of any mining activity here but could have been brought home as a paper weight or door stop.
