I am very fortunate to have permission to hunt an area with known civil war activities. I am additionally blessed that many landmarks, creeks, hills etc... are still as they were then and are clearly marked on battle maps, so I know I am in the "zone" so to speak. The area also has some early 1900s "trash" in the area as well. The two items below I dug up on a hill where a pretty good artillery duel took place. I am not sure if they are projectile related or early 1900 iron trash, any ideas?

The piece in the first three pics looks like a shell fragment to me, not sure which one. The piece in the last two pics I'm not sure what it is.
