ID Excell

Well this subject is definetly not new....but how does the ID excel do as far as target separation and masking are concerned. I hunt mostly old turn of the century farm houses and the occasional park and old abandoned biuldings in the moutains in former mining areas. I've hunted with a gtax 750 all this time and am ready to move on. C$ is a little pricey, and I dont know too much about the cz7apro. I do want target ID and tone ID though. I'm not crazy about the neddle in the CZ-3D, I mean I could get used to it if all I'm doing is digging coins...lol.You guys are the experts so any advice would be most helpful especially given the sites mentioned above I mostly hunt. Cenrtal Utah.
Thanks

It does take practice & alot of trial & error, but once learned the Excel can do amazing things & the trash & unmask stuff all other units miss. Don't let the 8" coil fool ya.....it still is surgical in thick iron.....I watch the LCD for (+), listen to the tones & vary sweep angles. That seems to work very well....
Yes, the C$ is alot more costly, but used ones can be had pretty cheaply online sometimes. But many folks think the Excel is even better in trash because it's less sensitive than the much hotter C$ anyhow.....so I would definately reccomend it.
