& the Coinstrike is the daddy 
Basically the Edge is a deeper version of the Excel. Same lightweight, same number system, 1 button ground bal, etc. The Edge has notching capabilities & the ability to knock out high coin even. There are some newer preset modes as well & some other things like a 10.5" coil. I'm sure I'm missing a few things too.....
