Then maybe you should go to the excell forum.. This is the Coinstrike area lol I would help you out but i know nothing about the excell

on Florida beaches. I run mine up here & I have lots of black sands & hot rocks. But, I have not had mine on the beach much...but it seemed to act pretty much like the C$ to me. Even without a salt mode, the Excel may be even better because it definately handles hot rocks better...let us know how you fair with it down there.......HH, Bill

It works great all the way down to the water. I run sens on 9 and dis to -10. Dig all targets. I dug a quarter at about 20 in. In the dry sand it runs real quiet, you will get some falsing close to the water but you will know when you get a target. Frank
