ID EXCEL DIGITAL DISPLAY

When the ID Excel finds a deep target do the numbers read lower on the display? For instance,a shallow coin reads +35, but when you come across a deep coin say 8 inches or more will it read +9 or +16?Will it do this in mineralized ground only?I'm a CZ person new to the ID Excel! What do i look for to find a 8 to 10 inch deep coin with this detector? The deepest item i've found so far with this detector is a square pulltab at 5 inches!
Thanks,
John B.

nessisarily. +35 is usually a big silver coin, a large cent, or a large object of high conductivity. A 99 during pinpoint is a better indicator that it's not deep. But you are correct, really deep targets or heavily mineralization can mess with ID numbers. BUt a +9 or +16 is still very "diggable". I've found indian heads down in that range. So just dig all your positives. Goodies will come, but your still very usted to the CZ's. Try to block out the CZ & be very open to learning something new & very different......HH< Bill
