ID Edge?

I have a question about the audio of the Edge. I have a C$ and like it except for the audio. Does the Edge have a clearer sounding audio in disc and all metal than the C$? I mostly hunt parks and yards and wondered if the Edge might have an advantage over the C$ for that type of hunting? Thanks in advance. Dale

The Edge does have an improved audio in both modes, particlarly in all metal. In spite of that, the C$ does outperform it slightly with all else being equal IMO. The three digi-Fishers were different enough from one another that they weren't really big/little brothers to each other. Sorta more like like half brothers. :)

The coin$trike is way above the ID edge, also it has many more features,it will out do the edge in trash areas with better seperation, and in open ground it is much more deeper. These 2 units do not compare if one proper learns the coin$trike.A good coin$trike user can keep up with the f75.

I think the edge is a equal to the coinstrike if not better my friend has a coinstrike and plans on getting rid of it to buy a edge and two guys I know hate their f75s but I havent used them I just here what they say. Maybe their tring to make me fell better!

I have an edge and it works great in all areas ,parks, yards, schools and even the water as a wading detector the sounds you get are all crisp and clear you will know when you get a hit even on the deeper coins . I have found that you can get a little better depth with it by setting it up with a sen. of 5 or 6 then ground bal. it then reset the sen. up just so you get a little falseing it has added up in the long run on older coins in my area
