ID Edge vs. F2/F4

No comparison as the F-2 and F-4 are entry level and the edge is a midline...Have to admit the F units are nice little units for the bucks but can't compare with the more expensive Edge...would do some research and will see the edge although more expensive is a superior unit...with added features and more depth...
 
The only advantage the F2/F4 could have on the Edge is the 11" DD coil, but aside from that Dan is absolutely right the Edge is a far superior unit in all other ways. I had an F4, and currently have an Edge and it's a great little machine (one of, if not the, lightest metered machine out there too!).
