ID Edge vs. CZ-3D question

Hey all......I'm looking at getting ANOTHER detector and am split between the Edge or 3D. I was wondering if the edge sounds off with high tones on IH's, Nickels, and other older coins in Old Coins mode the way a CZ-3D does in Enhanced Mode. I've used a CZ-5 and a -6a in the past and like them but my Explorer has kinda gotten me spoiled on solid state detectors so I'm a bit split right now. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

The basic answer to your tone question is no. Here is how tones are assigned to targets from the Id-Edge operator's manual.

You can see that Nickels read as a low-mid tone the same as foil.
