ID Edge spare parts

Hi folks, can anyone tell me how to get hold of a control panel membrane for a Fisher ID Edge? AND how the hell do you get the control box apart to fit it? Cheers

To get the detector apart just take the nut off the connector plug and the nut off the headphone jack and the whole inside will slide out faceplate and all .Its all one piece then the membrane board and lcd is all one piece 2 crews hold it to the circuit board and also 2 plastic clips. you will have to replace the whole lcd membrane board I believe as it looks to be one piece? There is a computer ribbon connecting it to the board.there is three set of wires you unplug going to the board 1 from the speaker and 2 from the batteries .Take a picture of the board to remember the wire configuration.

First texas will sell you the parts if you dont have a warranty!

Thanks to Keith Southern for the advice about ID Edge parts. Got the parts and fixed it myself, it works great. Many thanks.
