id edge no ih penny reading

just got my id edge and was checking old coin program tryed silver dimes all hit well,tried silver qtr.. all hit well tried early IH Penny(copper
nickel) and it wouldn't hit any sound id's as +15 every time just no sound
is this a glitch in the old coin program.. all other IHpennys had good hit/sound haves all hit well along with silver dollarrs

THANKS tom was'nt sure if that was happing or not...live in michigan and find quite a lot of IH up notrh of where i live so i sure don't want to miss any...

FRL was concerned if the Old Coin preset was backed down anymore numbers, folks would be screaming that it was accepting some tabs. So, missing one variety of Indian head can happen due to this. In the ground, the ID can change some & it's possible you could perhaps get a tone occationally. I love digging Indians myself, so I would suggest simply running your New Edge without this mode. Maybe just notch pesky objects or keep it on 00 & dig all positives like I usually do.......
