ID Dog Tag from beach

I found this dog tag on the beach today. Does anyone know what branch of service this came from. Having a the service number puts it around WWII. I have found USMC tags that were old but the shape is different.

The rubber guard was around it when found.

I've found round dog tags that I've been told were from pre WWII that were made out of aluminum. Here's one below.
