Theres this one spot across from an old school and down a steep bank to the water..I've been thinking about it a lot, wondering if the kids made a bee line to it in days gone by..evidently, they did! Got a 46 and a 60 rosie, 10 wheats, 3 nickles 4 mem cents and a 65 Q. Running AtPro custom with really low sens, like two bars, iron audio on, 20disc...lots of glass and old can bottoms in here too. There was an inch of ice near shore, and a fellow could just slide the coil on top of it, and it was picking up signals down in the mud..I tried cranking the sens up a little, but it didnt seem to matter all worked good. The sand area was frozen, but I could chip through it with my scoop and found some coins up on the dry. Had a great time!
Gonna keep at it, got some real good looking spots picked out for tomorrow.

Mud Good job! There are few findings!
As my father, a few coins jingling in your pocket is good music!
Best regards

Well done, Mud! One of the fun things about our hobby is getting rewarded for creative thinking! Hope today's even better!

Congrats on a couple of silver. Everything is frozen solid in my neck of the woods with nearly 2 feet of snow and a temp. of -29 with the wind chill. I enjoy seeing everyone elses finds at this time of year to keep the detecting fires burning.:smoke:
