I

Dirt Digger,

I bought an ACE 250 for my two boys from Barlinger out of Ohio. He was very good to deal with. He answered all of my questions and responded to all of my emails. A pleasure to deal with. Also I had a coupon from EBay / Paypal that got me 10 percent off of the $ 199.00 base price of his that included a set of head phones.

He normally has four ACE 250's on ebay at any given time.

His site is known as the pumpkin patch.

Does anybody know where I can get a extra lower rod for my Garrett Scorpion Gold Stinger?

Just my 2 cents not to offend buy any means, but I do not think you will be gaining much if any over the Whites Prizm you already have. Why not go with a Garrett 1350 ore say a Whites M6? and step up to the next level in performance and features in a detector such as better ground tracking, target ID and still have coil options. Ground tracking being a big improvement.

Good luck and take care,

Bill G ... I like my Prizm IV very well and would be extremely happy with it if I could only purchase a smaller coil. I also like the Ace 250's notching system better. I did consider the M-6 or the MXT, but I just have a funny feeling White's may combine the enhanced features of the M-6 with the MXT in the near future. I just want to make it clear to everyone, changes made to the MXT is just a gut feeling on my part. I have heard of NO rumors nor do I want to spread any.
I thought the Ace 250 would be a good investment until I know for sure about the MXT. I don't think I'd want to upgrade to the Garrett 1350 or White's DFX. I'd like to keep it simple.
Maybe your right, I was perfectly satisfied with the Prizm until I started reading about the Ace 250. Maybe I should re-think things, thanks for the opining Bill, there always welcome.
