Ray........I hear you!!!!!!!. The current temp for here, NE of KC, shows 106 on my Cell and 105 on the computer weather. That along with 1.25" of rain the last 8 weeks, is messing my detecting up as big time...and it looks like the week ahead isn't much better.....

Yeah, my god! You spend $2400 for a machine that goes down in the water and you aren't water hunting in the hot weather? What gives?

It hit about 90 today..and is now at 80..unfortunately its getting dark. But even 90 is cooler than it has been. But since I am, for the moment, down to one detector and having no backup...AND waiting for my replacement detector to arrive...(tomorrow)..I couldnt get out and try to find anything today..unless I wanted to use my pinpointer. My replacement CTX should arrive tomorrow so I will be happy again. My next goal is to get me a backup. Not sure what this time. Kinda thinking about one of those xp deus, I think is the name. I guess just because I havent used one. Not sure yet. Might just get me another Etrac. I just dont want to be without a spare again. First time in years that I havent had one...or more.
