I noticed that it was a little chilly outside when I fed the neighborhood stray cat a few minutes ago. Being Christmas, I fed it a little extra this morning. The kids will be over this afternoon for dinner and to exchange a few gifts. The coffee is brewing and I am just waiting for the first sign that some of the neighborhood kids are outside so that I can see what they got for Christmas. Hopefully this will be a more enjoyable Christmas than the one two years ago when a couple of the kids got paint guns and turned the immediate area into a war zone. The war started when Alex shot Marybell in the back of the head as she rode by on her new bike. It took almost an hour for the parents to restore order. Well, I need to wake Debbie up and get the ball to rolling around here. I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas before I head outside to wait for the neighborhood kids to show me what they got for Christmas! Kelley (Texas)
