I would like to thank Find's Forum for letting me be a Moderator here at the Sovereign and Excaliber forum.

No,I don't have the enthusiasm of Critter, the Knowledge and history with the Sovereign Rick has, neither the intelligence of Neil.My best quality I'm told from people at work, the ski patrol and a horse trainer I didn't even train with who saw me in an event told a friend they never saw anyone work so hard. One of my goals as a Moderator is to help the Sovereign Excal users anyway I can.My observation we need to support people more who take their time to post and show photos about their finds.Just like the new Sovereign Excal user's who need encouragement so does the older experience hunters need support who like all of us sometimes get in a slump.Anyway As a Moderator with your support we can make a good forum even better. Thanks Ron

Ron has the Experience using the Sovereigns and will do a great job of answering questions and has the help of others that too are well experienced. I too would like to see more actual finds and the story behind the finds than what we are seeing, like it used to be.

Good luck Ron with this job and I will do what i can to help in any way.

Rick

Ron...

Looks like you got yourself an easy job. There are a lot of places that are far worse for moderators to deal with.

Matt, thanks for the wakeup call,By the way I use an Explorer also and they are a great detector, but for me the Sovereign works better. Its good to use other equipment some detectors work better for different circumstances.HH Ron

Congrats Ron, and thank you for taking on the job. Your information to me has always been accurate and helpful. I'm sure you will do what is best for the forum, and that you will have the support from its members that you need.

Tim you have added a lot to this forum with your posts, and appreciate your support. Thanks Ron

Shoot...Now I have to watch what I say or I'll get canned.

Congradulations and I'm sure you'll do a fine job!

Critter, a lot of people wish they had your enthusiasm for the Sovereign.I have always considered you important to this forum and Find's in general.Have we always agreed? No.A argument or point of view is sometimes hard to make when the tone is hidden or blind to others, this happens on the computer. The metal detector industry is very competitive and a lot of people depend on sales for their lively hood.We should be less critical of products, don't want to hurt sales.Would like to have your support, which you already have mine. Thanks Ron

Congrats Ron, Im sure you will be a great moderator.

I havent been out hunting much lately, just working alot both at my job and around my house. Weather is getting nicer now and Im getting the itch to get over to the beach, hope to throw some finds pics up here on the forum from some of those hunts. Yesterday I saw about the AC hunt and minelab dinner, nice and close to my home but Im working weekends now so thats out of the question for me. Looking forward to some more info on the new detector and hoping some others get released as well.

HH
