----WISCONSIN????-------------Now here's something you don't hear every day. It seems a
group of thieves who struck a Wisconsin cheese factory
took an array of food and beverages big enough to feed a
party for hundreds of people.
An entire truckload was taken from the Dupont Cheese Factory
in Waupaca earlier this week, and one of the items was a
40-pound block of cheese carved into the shape of a wedding
bell.
In addition to the cheese bell the snatch included... 12
cases of beer, 16 cases of soda, 48 jars of herring, 60
pounds of snack sausages, 80 pounds of honey garlic sausage,
70 pounds of string cheese, 30 pounds of bacon, 15 pounds of
smoked beef, 80 pounds of summer sausage and 80 pounds of
regular beef sausage.
Is it just me or is anybody else getting a little hungry?
The report did not indicate if the Waupaca County Sheriff's
Department planned to use sniffer dogs in the investigation.
However, a reward of to $1,000 was posted for the return of
the buffet.
Well, you know they're not going to fence a 40-pound cheese
wedding bell. So my recommendation would be to keep on the
lookout for a really big party...and also for any unusual
spikes in the sales of Maalox and Rolaids. (BURP)
