You could order one in and use it. Then decide for yourself. You can then sell the detector as a demo model at your cost to recoup your money.

These detectors have been around for many,many years and Garrett certainly has the bugs worked out...I was wondering if it could be right up there with the XL Pro ...Guess I will just go an order one tomorrow...take care, RichardnTn

..and wasn't too thrilled about using 'C' batteries and the wrist pivot style of control box. Even with the arm brace, it was rather awkward. If push came to shove, I'd take the older model with the analogue gage over the pseudo-analogue LCD gage. ..Willy.
