I took my family to a reenactment in Philippi, WV. today. They claim to be the place of the first land battle of the CW.

The covered bridge was used as a barracks. A sutler told me of a place that is city land that I could MD. It was the South's encampment. Nothing to lose.

yeah, same here fellas. i thought she broke a nail too, but under closer observation, i think she got some powder stuck under her fingernails! it ain't no wonder the ol' boys didn't get much sleep. i wouldn't either. hh,
